Jerzmanowice village is located 15 km north of the "magical" city of Krakow, in the immediate vicinity of the Ojcow National Park. The Park is called by the ancestors "Paradise Valley" was created in 1956, its symbol is Cudgel of Hercules (A huge rock resembling a weapon of mythical giant was created by the destructive activities of wind and frost- alone, a huge rock that stands proudly in Pieskowa alongside exquisitely preserved Renaissance castle of Szafraniec family. The castle delights with beautiful galleries, gardens and museum collections
Lovers of old buildings should see the churches in Raclawice and Paczółtowice - perfectly preserved monuments of wooden architecture. It is worth visiting the museum in Wygiełzów – Nadwiślański/Vistula Ethnographic Park, which gives a picture of rural architecture dating back 100 years.
In this picturesque area of southern Polish there rises limestone shaft - Upper Jurassic rocks, which his white and fantastic shapes, eye-catching, attract attention of those travelling by the national road no 94. Most of them are considered as natural monuments. Charming slopes of these cliffs attract enthusiasts burnishing the climbing technique. Wandering among the monadnocks we encounter larger and smaller valleys, ravines and gorges with rocky bubbling streams, inviting even for a short rest. The most beautiful and the longest include: Valley the Prądnika, Kluczwody, Będkowska and Kobylanska valley, Sanki views captivate and encourage contemplation.
Enthusiasts of underground expeditions will experience of thrilling, visiting the legendary caves, caverns or grottos. Most frequently visited by tourists is Bat’s Cave in Bedkowska Valley, Dark and King’s Łokietek Cave with interesting archeological excavations. We recommend visiting the most unique in the world scale underground recesses of the seventeenth century- the Wieliczka Salt Mine.
