We are delighted to inform you that our Restaurant has received the Regional Tavern of Lesser Poland 2011” (“Regionalna Karczma Małopolski 2011”) Certificate, as a result of participating in the “Gourmets’ Route of Lesser Poland” (“Małopolska Trasa Smakoszy”) Project.

The Awards Gala took place on 16th November 2011 in the oldest historical tavern of Lesser Poland "RZYM" in Sucha Beskidzka. The project covered all submitted taverns and restaurants from Lesser Poland. It was organised and supervised by Lesser Poland Tourist Organisation, subsidised by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.

54 taverns participated in the “Gourmets’ Route of Lesser Poland” Project – certification of regional Lesser Poland taverns as a part of improving the quality of tourism services. The taverns were evaluated not only from the service quality point of view. The knowledge about the region was also taken into account. As a result of 2-month work of Evaluation Teams, 42 taverns were shortlisted and given the “Regional Tavern of Lesser Poland” Certificate. These objects will be marked on the map of “Gourmets’ Route of Lesser Poland” and included in activities promoting our region.

The project realization meant developing and implementing a system of certification of regional catering businesses of Lesser Poland. In September and October 35 members of Evaluation Teams, grouped in 2–3–people crews, visited the taverns submitted to the project. The purpose of such visits was to identify and select caterings of the highest standard and quality of services, as well as support the promotion of regional products of Lesser Poland. taken from: http://www.mot.krakow.pl
